ETL Tester (Automation Specialist)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ETLTester with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including a strong foundation in manual testing and a proven ability to initiate and lead automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating new testing frameworks, improving test coverage, and accelerating release cycles through automation.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications

Lead the transition from manual to automated testing by identifying high-impact areas for automation

Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC

Perform root cause analysis of defects and drive continuous improvement in testing processes

Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report metrics to stakeholders

Ensure regression testing is automated and integrated into CI / CD pipelines

Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance

Can manage multiple projects in the fast pace

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in automation

Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, RestAssured)

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript

Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
