Technical Operation Manager (Charging stations for EV)

Job descriptionGraduate / Diploma holder in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering from recognized institute (AICTE / UGC-approved). Higher qualifications (B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA) preferred. Certification in Electrical Safety, Energy Audits, Renewable Energy desirable. 5-6 years’ experience in telecom / utility / EV charging operations or infra sector. Prior team leadership managing 30+ staff preferred. Knowledge of power systems, EV charging solutions, electronics. Familiarity with CPCB, DISCOM, CEA, IE Rules, and State Acts. Awareness of labor laws (EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus). Service mindset with focus on safety, sustainability, customer experience. Experience in vendor coordination, partner management, negotiation, incident response, and uptime assurance. Strong ownership and accountability. Creative, adaptable, willing to learn. Service-oriented with focus on efficiency, safety, customer satisfaction. Ethical and consistent in workplace behavior.
OVERVIEW : Organize and implement operational activities in compliance with Indian labor laws, Electricity Act, CEA regulations, and environmental standards ensuring standardization, simplification, efficiency, scalability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety & quality audits during installation, commissioning, maintenance, emergencies.
- Monitor departmental tasks. Negotiate with partners, DISCOMs, OEMs, vendors.
- Submit reports / MIS. Participate in audits and compliance checks.
- Develop & review JDs and KPIs. Create work plans to improve charging service quality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leaders.
