Automation Test Lead - Software Quality Assurance

Description : Responsibilities :

• Design and Strategy : Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable end-to-end automated testing strategies using Playwright.
• Framework Ownership : Build, maintain, and enhance robust, reusable automation frameworks for web-based platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to interpret requirements, define test scope, and align on quality expectations.
• CI / CD Integration : Own and optimize CI / CD pipelines for automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of regression, functional, and smoke test suites.
• Quality Governance : Identify and track quality KPIs; create dashboards to monitor test execution trends, defect density, coverage, and release readiness.
• Technical Leadership : Mentor and coach QA engineers, provide code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive automation best practices.
• Defect Management : Investigate test failures, troubleshoot automation issues, triage defects, and work with teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Compliance and Alignment : Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to align automation efforts with CI / CD, compliance, and security requirements.
