Digital Printing Operator

GotPrint, a rapidly-expanding online printing company with multiple facilities across the United States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Digital Printing Operator.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Must know which products are to receive die cut as well as the appropriate die size and paper to be used

Must have a good eye for determining if a job has any errors; checking for extra bleeding and making sure text or picture is not cut off

Must be able to determine which paper is to be used for various products, as we have multiple paper stocks

Full understanding of offset press, pre-press and post-press

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Demonstrate ability to plan and execute successfully with each job

Provide creative solutions to production issues

Be a team player; do whatever is necessary to meet project demands

Willingness to work various shifts as required by the work schedule

Responsible for monthly performance maintenance

Requirements and Qualifications :

2 years of hands-on experience in sheet fed printing, printing finish and pre-press

Successful record of encouraging and fostering teamwork in a high-pressure, high-demand production environment

Ability to prioritize projects

Ability to work with and interact with a variety of individuals

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Extremely organized with strong attention to detail

Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven and multi project coordination environment
