Description

We are seeking a skilled HCC Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience in coding, specifically focusing on Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC). You will be responsible for reviewing medical records, ensuring accurate coding, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures according to HCC guidelines.
Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations, including CMS and HIPAA requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve coding accuracy and efficiency.
Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations related to HCC coding.

Skills and Qualifications

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and HCC methodologies.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and coding software.

Attention to detail and accuracy in coding practices.

Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and provide feedback.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Doctor of Optometry, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), Doctor of Medicine (M.D / M.S), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), MBBS, Doctor of Psychology (Psy.
