Palni - Embedded Software Engineer - OpenWRT System

Description :

• 5+ years of software development experience in embedded systems or network product development.
• Strong expertise in OpenWrt development, including package creation, system configuration, porting, and firmware customization.
• Solid programming skills in C with experience working in constrained embedded environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux shell scripting and Lua, especially for automation, configuration, and integrating with OpenWrts system components.
• Strong understanding of network programming and socket-level development on Linux platforms.
• Practical knowledge of ONU / ONT and OLT technologies, GPON / XPON architecture, and broadband device operation.
• Hands-on experience working with Broadcom, Airoha, or similar gateway SDKs, including HAL layers, board bring-up, and API integration.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel concepts, networking stacks, drivers, device trees, and build systems (Make, CMake, Yocto / OpenWrt buildroot).
• Experience with debugging tools, profiling utilities, and packet capture tools.
