Strategy & Planning
Develop Merchandising Strategy : Create and execute seasonal and long-term merchandising strategies that align with company goals, target audience, and brand image.
Market Analysis : Monthly visits to stores to understand merchandise performance, competition performance and changes / gaps , if any.
Buying : Plan out the projection for fashion collections for new season as well as for core business monthly basis ROS and stock cover
Assortment & Inventory Management
Product Assortment : Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including selecting, sourcing, and curating product assortments for specific categories or regions.
Inventory Control : Monitor weekly allocations, stock flow, and distribution across channels to minimize stock outs and overstock / markdown risks by closely monitoring MBQs
Promotions : planning the discounts on aged inventory for liquidation across all channels
Reporting & Analysis
Performance Monitoring : Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, sell-through rate, new launches, Store space efficiency (SPSF) and stock cover analysis
Reporting : Prepare and present detailed performance reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Buying / Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising plans.
