About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for landscape projects — including hardscape, softscape, and lighting works. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and coordination with design and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review landscape drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs for all landscape elements (softscape, hardscape, lighting, fabrication work, and site furniture etc).
  • Prepare and maintain BOQs, rate analyses, and cost breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material rates and quotations.
  • Support the design team in providing cost-effective design solutions and value engineering inputs.
  • Assist in tender documentation and bid preparation.
  • Evaluate variation orders and prepare cost impact assessments.
  • Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in estimation for landscape or civil construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of landscape materials, construction methods, and BOQ preparation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of landscape materials and plant material estimation.
  • Experience with tendering procedures and value engineering.
  • Familiarity with local market rates and supplier databases.
