Realtime Animator

We are looking for a talented Mocap Polishing Animator with a strong animation background and hands-on expertise in Autodesk Motion Builder. The ideal candidate is an animator by craft — someone who understands performance, body mechanics, and storytelling through motion — and is experienced in refining motion capture data to deliver high-quality, production-ready animation.

This role involves enhancing mocap performances by fixing technical and visual issues, refining interactions with props and environments, and ensuring the final output meets artistic and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Import, clean, and edit motion capture data within Motion Builder.
• Apply motion data to rigs and ensure accurate character performance.
• Work closely with the Sr.Leads and leads to maintain consistency in quality.
• Adjust timing, poses, and body mechanics to enhance realism and performance.
• Retarget animation data between various character rigs.
• Troubleshoot animation and rig-related issues within Motion Builder.
• Where applicable, export animation clips for integration into game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.) or 3D pipelines.
• Ability to shift between various animation styles.
• Experience with animation software, such as Motion Builder is must.
• Strong understanding on Motion capture pipeline and cleanup process.
• Ability to enhance and edit the existing Motion capture data.
