Job Summary A strong purchasing and logistics professional should quickly and accurately process Supplier follow-up, shipment Tracking and logistics-related functions in a fast-paced environment.
Works well in a team to consistently meet challenging Goals.
The candidate should have a good working knowledge in supplier outbound and customer inbound US logistics in handling construction-related items (Appliance, Lighting, Tile, wood Floor, Door, plumbing, etc) Job Description Conduct daily follow-ups to track order and shipment status, ensuring all deliveries are completed on time as per the client’s requested schedule.
Should have sound knowledge in handling supplier decommits in shipping & deliveries.
Maintain regular follow-ups with suppliers to obtain accurate shipment tracking updates and AWB (Air Waybill) details promptly.
Coordinate shipping and resolving potential shipping issues, such as received damages or missing items.
Foster strong internal collaboration and efficiently manage daily operations with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Manages and maintains Logistics - Purchased reports for specified division(s) Liaison with the accounting department to reconcile orders & Vendor invoices, and Final payment for the purchase orders Review and manage shipment delivery on time with follow-up and tracking Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and escalate on time.
Handle discrepancies & issues related to swap / replacements / EOL Items Should have sound knowledge of handling & creating quotes, BOL, claims for suppliers & handling decommits in shipping & deliveries.
Communicate professionally and courteously with suppliers in relation to shipment delivery processing as required to resolve issues and receive orders in time Additional Responsibilities Performs related work as assigned Using software associated with the position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business-related area preferred A candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in supply chain Should have construction-related Purchase items experience in Appliance, Lighting, Tile, wood Floor, Door, plumbing, etc.
Rich experience in US Supplier follow-up, shipment Tracking, Logistics, inbound and outbound shipments related functions & Incoterms Must have experience working in back-office operations Should have customer handling experience in US logistics.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - 4 to 5 band Must be an expert user of MS Office 360, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
