Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apigee Lead to design, implement, and manage API solutions using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Apigee Hybrid platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of API management, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices architecture, and strong experience in driving digital transformation through scalable and secure API strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of API solutions using Apigee Edge, Apigee Hybrid, and Apigee X.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the API team; drive best practices for API lifecycle management, governance, and security.
• Design and implement API proxies, policies, traffic management, security (OAuth, JWT, API Key), and developer portal configurations.
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud API management solutions leveraging GCP and Apigee’s advanced capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (DevOps, security, application teams) to integrate Apigee with CI / CD pipelines and other enterprise systems.
• Support migration efforts from Apigee Edge to Apigee X and / or Hybrid.
• Define and enforce API governance, logging, monitoring, and analytics standards.
• Perform platform upgrades, security patches, and ensure high availability of the Apigee infrastructure.
