Continuity 1 - Junior Database Administrator - MongoDB

About the Role :

Were looking for a Junior MongoDB DBA with hands-on experience in database administration, scripting, and performance support. The role involves managing MongoDB environments, monitoring system health, and automating routine tasks while working closely with senior DBAs on large-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support and maintain MongoDB instances across development, staging, and production environments.
• Perform health checks, log monitoring, and backup verifications .
• Assist with index management, query optimization, and schema changes.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of daily maintenance tasks.
• Prepare and update runbooks and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with senior DBAs during incident response and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated on MongoDB best practices, new features, and performance tuning techniques.
