Overview :
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for managing and optimizing databases, including Relational and NoSQL Databases. The role involves performance tuning, cost optimization, automating tasks, and collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient and secure database operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Database Management : Managing both Relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Mongo, Redis)
- Performance Optimization : Monitor and tune database performance, optimize queries, and configure indexing for efficiency.
- Automation : Automate tasks like backups, scaling, and monitoring using in-built functionalities.
- Cost Optimization : Manage resource usage to optimize costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
- Collaboration with Developers : Work with development teams to align database architecture with application needs.
- Troubleshooting : Quickly resolve performance and database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements Key Skills :
Expertise in MySQL (must) & Mongo (preferred).Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills.Certifications :
Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate (Preferred).
