Atlassian Admin
The individual in this role will support key critical initiatives and will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of products within the Atlassian platforms including concept inception, delivery, and adoption. This position will interface closely with business collaborators, product, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions for the enterprise.
Project Management
- Successfully deliver on highly visible Atlassian projects of strategic importance to the organization
- Build, maintain, and deliver training on Atlassian tools for the company
- Support the software development lifecycle and the technology team on all aspects of delivery that utilize Atlassian tools
- Contribute to Atlassian project management activities from project discovery through post-implementation efforts, including definition and management of achievements, requirements, workplan, resources, vendors, budget, scope, issues and risks, change, and collaborators
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Atlassian applications
- Enable Jira agile and kanban practices to cross-functional engineering and IT stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to assist them in building Jira based reports, dashboards, and planning views based on different user requirements to provide them with actionable project metrics and status reports where appropriate
- Work with end users to design and build scalable and standardized processes based on best practices using Atlassian tools
- Understand a variety of different business needs and processes currently using Atlassian tools, and recommend automation of business processes where appropriate
- Implement cross-functional department processes utilizing Jira standard and custom workflows engines, automation scripts and data-driven reporting tools
- Design and implement processes to ensure data integrity and standardization within Atlassian tools
- Stay up to date with the latest relevant Atlassian offerings and functionality
Administration
Responsible for administration, maintenance, enhancements, and configurations of Atlassian Cloud Suite products (Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence)Assist with maintenance of all capabilities associated with Jira projects, workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, permission schemes, and associated notification schemesAssist with maintenance of all capabilities associated with Confluence spaces, pages, templates, and permission schemesAnalyze requests for new Jira and Jira Service Management functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests, and handle or route appropriatelyMaintain a healthy Jira and Confluence project environment by periodically reviewing configurations, permissions, workflows, reports, and dashboardsPlan, create, and maintain the appropriate documentation, inventory assessments, and procedures related to administration of the applicationsCommunicates positively and effectively with customers, coworkers, and stakeholders to understand administrative needs and resolve support issuesManage and periodically review Atlassian tool permissions in accordance with company policiesSupport on-boarding and off-boarding requests in working with the HR and IT teamBuild, develop and maintain custom integrations (out-of-box and custom scripts) with 3rd party applications via REST APIsHandle escalations from the service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end user issuesOn-call support rotationRequired Skills
