Facade Designer

Position : Façade & Aluminium Door / Window Designer

Location : Valueline - New Delhi

Key Responsibilities :

Design and detail high-end façade systems and aluminium / glass door & window systems for premium residential and commercial projects.

Provide system drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and technical detailing using AutoCAD and related tools.

Develop custom design solutions based on architect / client requirements, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and performance.

Must be familiar with prevalent façade systems , slim aluminium door / window profiles , and minimalist glazing systems used in modern architecture.

Coordinate with internal teams, architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of execution.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards for thermal performance , wind load , water-tightness , acoustic insulation , and structural safety .

Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and assist in vendor coordination where required.

Visit project sites for technical assessments, installation coordination, and design verification.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related design field.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing luxury façade and aluminium door / window systems .

Strong knowledge of aluminium systems like slim profiles, sliding-folding systems, minimal frames, curtain walls , and unitized façades .

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and translate them into executable design solutions.

Detail-oriented with strong visualization, communication, and coordination abilities.

Preferred Experience :

Worked with global façade or aluminium system brands.

Experience in luxury segment projects, especially bespoke homes, hospitality, and boutique commercial developments .
