Core responsibilities
Staff and subcontractor supervision :
Manage and coordinate the work of various teams including hiring assigning duties and conducting performance reviews.
Health and safety :
Conduct regular safety inspections enforce safety regulations and implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Resource and material management :
Select order and manage the use of tools and materials and ensure their timely delivery.
Quality control :
Monitor progress and quality to ensure work meets agreed-upon standards and specifications.
Liaising and communication :
Act as the main point of contact for clients architects engineers and other professionals and prepare regular progress reports.
Problem-solving :
Troubleshoot any issues that arise on site and find solutions to keep the project on track.
Project management :
Plan and oversee the project from start to finish ensuring it meets client specifications budgets and timelines.
