Location : Ludhiana, Punjab

Industry : Textiles / Spinning / Yarn Manufacturing

Experience : 5–10 years of relevant experience with buying houses or apparel brands in India.

About the Role

Square Corporation is seeking an experienced and results-driven person to sell, manage and

develop markets across key textile hubs in India, Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka. The ideal

candidate must possess hands-on experience working with buying houses or established

apparel brands, have a well-developed vendor network, and demonstrate deep market

knowledge of textiles and apparel manufacturing within the Indian ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead generation and sales.

 Travel abroad and meet prospective clients.

 Build and manage strong vendor networks across India.

 Negotiate pricing and contracts to optimize sourcing efficiency.

 Track market trends and raw material prices for informed decisions.

 Work closely with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams.

 Explore new markets, textile clusters, and product innovations.

Key Skills & Competencies

 Bachelor’s degree in Textile / Fashion / Supply Chain; Master’s preferred.

 5–10 years’ experience with buying houses or apparel brands.

 Strong vendor network across major textile hubs in India.

 Solid understanding of fabrics, garment construction, costing, and tech specs.

 Proven skills in negotiation, supplier management, and fast-paced sourcing cycles.

 Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

 Willing to travel for vendor meetings and market development.
