About the Role :

We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Social Media Manager to lead our brand's social media strategy, content execution, and community management across platforms. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in video content creation, social hygiene (comment moderation, community engagement, brand tone enforcement), and will also actively support our SEO efforts through content planning and optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Social Media Strategy & Execution

○ Plan, schedule, and publish platform-specific content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

○ Develop monthly social calendars and campaigns aligned with brand goals.

○ Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure brand consistency.

  • Video Content Creation
  • ○ Ideate, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content (Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

    ○ Stay on top of trends to create viral, engaging content.

    ○ Manage on-ground shoots with influencers, customers, or internal teams.

  • Social Hygiene & Community Management
  • ○ Monitor DMs, comments, tags, and brand mentions to ensure timely responses and engagement.

    ○ Flag and resolve customer complaints or sensitive issues.

    ○ Maintain a clean, positive brand presence by managing trolls, spam, and inappropriate content.

  • SEO & Content Collaboration
  • ○ Collaborate with the SEO agency to support keyword-driven content creation.

    ○ Optimize social content for discoverability (titles, captions, hashtags, alt-text).

    ○ Must be capable of writing and developing content for blogs and websites.

  • Performance Tracking
  • ○ Use analytics tools to track growth, engagement, and campaign performance.

    ○ Generate insights and monthly performance reports.

    ○ Recommend improvements based on data and trends.

    Requirements :

  • Minimum 1 years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
  • Strong portfolio of video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of platform algorithms, content trends, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and how social content impacts organic search.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and visual.
  • Proactive, creative, and able to manage multiple platforms independently.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Experience working in a D2C or e-commerce brand.
  • Knowledge of influencer collaboration and UGC strategy.
  • Basic understanding of paid ads and boosting strategy.
