Job Role : Sales Engineer / Manager – Aseptic Utilities
Role Purpose
Build and expand Gopani’s business in aseptic utilities such as WFI loops, clean steam systems, and sterile air or vent filtration by partnering with utility, engineering, and project teams in pharma and biopharma plants.
Location- Ahmedabad (first preference), Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune

Utility and engineering managers in pharma and biopharma plants.Maintenance heads responsible for utilities and piping.Project and engineering consultants for new facilities.EPC contractors involved in utility installation projects.Key Responsibilities
Map WFI, clean steam, and sterile utility systems in target plants.Identify upgrade or replacement opportunities for filters and housings.Work with internal engineering to design or select appropriate solutions.Engage with projects and EPCs to specify Gopani filters in new builds.Support troubleshooting of fouling, DP, and performance issues.Maintain long-term relationships with engineering and utility stakeholders.Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training where required.Candidate Profile – Education and Experience
B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering preferred.3–8 years of experience in process utilities, filtration, piping, or related technical sales.Prior experience selling into engineering and utility functions in pharma is a strong plus.Familiarity with P&IDs and basic sizing or selection of filters is desirable.For senior roles, broader experience with process equipment or utility projects may be acceptable.Core Competencies
Strong process and systems thinking.Comfortable with technical discussions and basic calculations.Ability to coordinate with internal technical teams for support.Resilience in handling long and project-based sales cycles.Structured documentation of site visits, issues, and action plans.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue from aseptic utilities products and projects.Number of plants or projects where Gopani is specified in utility lines.Volume of retrofit or replacement business generated.Strength of relationships within engineering and utility teams.Contribution to cross-selling opportunities into other verticals.Travel and Location
Frequent plant and site visits are required (30–60% travel). Some visits may involve construction sites or utility areas.
