The Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our backend engineering teams. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall technical direction, execution, and growth of multiple teams focused on building and scaling our core platform using the MERN stack (Node.Js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). You will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage multiple backend engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
• Own the overall technical vision and strategy for the backend organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmap.
• Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex backend initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with product management, frontend leadership, and other stakeholders to define product strategy, priorities, and technical direction.
• Develop and empower engineering leaders (Team Leads) within your organization, providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for growth.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, promoting best practices, coding standards, and architectural consistency across teams.
• Oversee architectural decisions and ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of our backend systems.
• Proactively identify and address organizational and technical challenges, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive the professional development and career growth of engineers within your organization through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Lead and contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of top engineering talent.
• Advocate for and implement improvements to our engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively for your engineering teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on team progress, challenges, and strategic direction.
• Contribute to the overall engineering strategy and culture of the company.
