Specialist Software Engineer - Elastic search administrator

Responsibilities :

Maintenance of Elastic Search + ECE (Elastic Cloud Enterprise) clusters

Monitoring production KPIs and raising alerts when necessary

Managing capacity planning follow-up

Following up on processes : change, incident, problem management

Maintaining automation scripts written in Ansible / Ansible Tower + Terraform

Proposing improvements for the current platforms : automation, incident performance, proper usage by clients, best practices

Level 3 support for applications hosted on Elastic Search + ECE infrastructure : managing templates, mappings, allocation, Logstash. Providing sizing recommendations for ELK / ECE components

Knowledge of Kibana : access rights, management of spaces & objects; expertise in dashboarding is a plus

Strong Linux knowledge is also required

Being attentive to client needs and communicating during all types of changes : cluster lifecycle, environment operations, ad hoc events, presentation of new features, etc.

Ability to develop a close relationship with the ElasticSearch vendor as well as with the internal team

Working in an agile mode respecting ceremonies
