Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead business development activities across financial services including personal loans, home loans, business loans, and credit cards.
  • Build and nurture relationships with individual clients, corporates, channel partners, and NBFCs / banks to drive business expansion.
  • Identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and oversee implementation of go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage a sales and service team to meet business goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze financial and market performance metrics to guide business strategies and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and RBI guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, credit, and operations to deliver customer-centric financial solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, fintech innovations, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Drive digitization initiatives and promote use of digital tools to increase operational efficiency and customer reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in business development within the financial services or lending domain.
  • In-depth understanding of retail and SME financial products such as personal loans, home loans, business loans, and credit cards.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving sales / loan disbursement targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial reports and market data.
  • Familiarity with compliance protocols and regulatory frameworks governing the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital platforms relevant to lending and financial services
