Space Planning and Design Specialist

Job descriptionCreate functional space plans considering ergonomics, compliance, and safety guidelines. Prepare furniture layouts, lighting plans, and elevations. Select finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, and accessories. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, pricing, and product specifications. Work with architects, contractors, MEP teams, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed correctly. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design issues. Prepare BOQs, working drawings, and technical documents. Maintain accurate project documentation for approvals and execution. Estimate costs and align design decisions with client budgets. Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met. Present design concepts and revisions. Handle client feedback and provide design solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture. 0–5 years of experience (can modify based on level). Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of materials, industry trends, and design styles. Excellent communication, creativity, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has strong design sensibility, project management skills, and the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.

- Meet with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and style preferences.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D renders.
