Job Description

Are you a mobile-savvy tester who loves breaking apps and finding edge cases? We need an experienced Manual Tester with strong mobile application testing skills to join our QA team to help us ship polished, bug-free features on time.

As a Tester, you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the Cloud Energy development team with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation.

Who you are :

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manual testing, with at least 1 to 2 years in mobile app testing
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS platforms
  • Experience testing with real devices and emulators / simulators
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI / UX standards
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Good communication and bug-reporting skills
  • Should be a team player and have curiosity, attention to detail, and a mobile-first mindset

Desirable Skills :

  • Familiarity with mobile automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus, especially SaFE Agile.

    • What you will do :

  • Will be responsible for validating the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Designers and product teams to ensure the highest quality of mobile applications
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for mobile applications (Android / iOS)
  • Perform functional, UI / UX, regression, exploratory and smoke testing on real devices and simulators / emulators
  • Identify, document and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Validate app behavior under different network conditions (WiFi, 3G, 4G, offline)
  • Test app compatibility across multiple OS versions, screen sizes, and device types
  • Verify integration with push notifications, sensors (GPS, camera) and permissions
  • Good collaboration with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs
  • Maintain test artifacts like test documents, test reports, and checklists
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and support UAT if required
