Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining functional and visually appealing websites. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing front-end and back-end systems, troubleshooting code, and ensuring website responsiveness across various devices. Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other developers will be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

Experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side scripting and database integration

Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks

Strong skills in Web Development and Web Design, with a focus on user experience and scalability

Programming expertise in languages relevant to modern web development

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Knowledge of accessibility standards and search engine optimization is an advantage

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
