SAP - Project System (PS)

Key Responsibilities of the Role :

To work on projects & support activity of SAP PS module.

Work closely with the business teams to understand their requirements.

Handling Client queries, supporting various User requirements (new developments and modifications) in existing application Landscape.

Co-ordination between Information System, Basis and IT Infrastructure teams to ensure continuity of support activity.

Knowledge of business processes related to Project management / Sales / Material Management / Production Planning

Exposure to SAP Solution Manager for transport the config. or custom development from DEV till PRD.

Need to support SAP PS support calls adhering to SLA.

Mentoring the other team members in functional and technical aspects.

Ability to provide and review documentation as required in various stages of document life cycle.

Understanding the detailed technical specification and identify the issues which impacts performance

Preparing & maintaining documentation for Technical developments (Technical Specification)

Monitoring of Process Chains and Background jobs.

Should have good communication skills with good attitude

Competencies Required :

Understanding of Business Processes and their mapping on to the Systems

Process mapping technique and its effective communication to the Business Team

Should be able to handle independently all the requirements related to PS module (customization, Integration, FS, Statutory compliance, etc)

Expertise in all PS related configuration in ECC & S / 4 Hana environment, Should possess all core expertise for integration with other modules,

Should have experience of migration activities from ECC to S / 4 Hana including data cutover activities as applicable

Education & Relevant Experience

Engineering Graduate or Post graduation in Systems

SAP PS S / 4 Hana certification is preferable

Experience as SAP PS Consultant over 5 plus years & should have worked on S / 4 Hana with add on tools of SAP EPPM (additional advantage for experience in similar industry)

Hands on Experience of SAP SD & PP ( MRP run through PS module)

Knowledge of other Project tools-MSP, Primavera, etc.
