We are reimagining life insurance distribution for India's digital-native professionals. We're building an AI-powered advisory platform that helps people understand their insurance needs without spam calls or pushy sales tactics. We're in early-stage validation and looking for a hustler to help us prove product-market fit.
Role : Product & Growth Intern (Full-time, 3-6 months)
Location : Remote / Hybrid
What You'll Do
This isn't a typical internship. You'll be doing real work that directly impacts whether this company succeeds or fails. You'll wear multiple hats : researcher, growth hacker, and sales coordinator.
1. Lead Generation & User Acquisition (40% of time)
Your goal : Get 500+ qualified users to test our MVP
What this looks like :
Identify and reach out to target users (tech professionals, 25-40 years, ₹10L+ income)
Run outreach campaigns on social media platforms
Coordinate with influencers / content creators for shoutouts
Partner with fintech communities, startup employee groups
Run small experimental ad campaigns (Google / Meta / LinkedIn) and optimize
2. User Research & Feedback Collection (30% of time)
Your goal : Understand why people do / don't engage with our product
What this looks like :
Conduct user interviews (20-30 per month) with people who :
Completed the need analysis
Started but didn't finish
Showed interest but didn't convert
Send and analyze post-interaction surveys
Monitor user behavior in the product (where do they drop off?)
Create detailed user personas based on patterns you see
Document feature requests, complaints, and praise
Competitive analysis : Test competitor products, identify gaps
Synthesize findings into actionable product recommendations
3. Sales Coordination & Follow-through (30% of time)
Your goal : Help interested users actually buy insurance
What this looks like :
Follow up with users who expressed purchase intent
Coordinate between users and partner insurance advisors
Schedule calls / meetings for high-intent leads
Track conversion funnel : Interest → Quote → Application → Policy issued
Handle basic customer queries (over email / WhatsApp / chat)
Document objections and reasons for not buying
Maintain CRM / spreadsheet with lead status
Calculate actual conversion rates and revenue generated
Identify patterns : Who converts vs who doesn't, and why?
