Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Product Design with a background in the automotive seat manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finalizing technical specifications, conducting technical reviews with customers, and ensuring cost adherence throughout the design process. A strong working knowledge of CATIA or CREO software is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Specification : Finalize technical specifications for automotive seating products. You will lead the design process from concept to completion.
Customer Collaboration : Conduct technical reviews with customers to ensure the design meets their specific requirements and expectations.
Cost Management : Ensure cost adherence during product design by managing budget constraints and finding efficient design solutions.
Software & Technical Skills : Utilize CATIA or CREO software for all design and modeling activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring the design is feasible for manufacturing.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a product design role within an automotive seat manufacturing company .

Expertise in finalizing technical specifications and conducting customer reviews.

Experience with cost adherence and management during the design phase.

Proficiency with CATIA or CREO software is a must.

Skills

Strong technical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for customer-facing roles.

Expertise in CAD software and manufacturing processes.

The ability to manage a project from design to production while adhering to cost targets.
