The Head of Landscape Design will lead the end-to-end landscape vision, strategy, design, and execution across all residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The role is responsible for developing inspirational, sustainable, and future-ready landscape environments that enhance project value, customer experience, and brand differentiation. This leader will collaborate closely with internal design, architecture, MEP, sustainability, and project teams, as well as external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Landscape Design & Strategy
- Develop the organization’s landscape design philosophy in alignment with brand positioning.
- Drive innovation in outdoor living, sustainable landscape practices, climate-resilient design, and biodiversity.
- Lead conceptualization, master planning, and detailed design for all project landscapes.
- Review, refine, and approve design proposals, plant palettes, materials, and hardscape elements.
2. Project Delivery & Execution Oversight
Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless translation of design intent into execution.Resolve design / site issues, provide solutions, and ensure timely delivery of all landscape works.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, installation standards, and adherence to specifications.3. Vendor, Consultant & Stakeholder Management
Manage and evaluate landscape consultants, horticulturists, irrigation specialists, and contractors.Negotiate scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with external partners.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders – Design, Projects, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Experience.4. Sustainability & Compliance
Integrate sustainable landscaping solutions : water-sensitive designs, native species, energy-efficient lighting, and low-maintenance planting.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, biodiversity norms, and local municipal guidelines.Qualification and Experience :Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or related field with 10+ years of experience in landscape design with a reputed real estate developer, architectural firm, or landscape consultancy.Demonstrated experience leading large-scale landscapes for high-rise residential, townships, commercial campuses, or hospitality projects.
