Job descriptionPlatform Configuration : Configure and maintain financial models, cubes, dashboards, reports, and templates within Workday Adaptive Planning. This includes building dimensions, levels, and accounts to meet evolving business needs.Requirements Gathering : Partner with Finance, Operations, and other business stakeholders to understand their planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.Solution Design : Translate business requirements into technical specifications and a clear configuration strategy for the Workday Adaptive Planning platform.Data Integration : Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data integrations (using the Adaptive Integration product) to ensure data flows seamlessly from source systems (e.g., ERP, GL, CRM) into Adaptive Planning.Support and Maintenance : Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot configuration issues, and work with Workday support as needed.While prior experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus, the core requirement is a strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have a foundational skill set that demonstrates their ability to grasp and apply technical concepts.Excel Proficiency : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX / MATCH), pivot tables, and macros. This is crucial for data manipulation and analysis, which is fundamental to financial planning.Data Literacy : A good understanding of database concepts, data structures, and the principles of data integrity. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and understanding relationships between different data points.Integration Concepts : Familiarity with basic data integration methods (e.g., flat files, APIs, connectors) and an understanding of how data moves between systems.
