Roles & responsibilities

Key role in PowerOn Advantage implementation

Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Determines problem fixes / remedies. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

Operational support of the Outage Management System.

Development tasks required (PLSQL, PERL , JAVA Script, SOAP integration, SSRS Reports).

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of policy, standards, procedures, and documentation for security

Min 3 years experience in a similar role in utilities domain

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in application upgrades, data migration

Preferable - Experience with Gas outage management (GE would be advantageous)

Resilience - ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets

Communication – demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Problem Solving – ability to manage multiple issues at once, and priorities independently.

Strong understanding of Linux Operating system

Working experience oracle database
