Research Development Lead

Position Summary :

We are looking for a highly qualified

Ph.D. in Chemistry

professional with 10-14 years of industrial R&D experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of chemists to drive

new product development, process improvements, cost optimization, and quality enhancement . This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on industrial exposure, and leadership skills to manage R&D activities effectively.

Educational Qualifications :

Ph.D. in Chemistry (mandatory)

MSc in

Organic Chemistry ,

Industrial Chemistry , or

Inorganic Chemistry

Experience : 10-14 years

of relevant industrial R&D experience in chemical or allied industries.

Proven track record in

process development, optimization, and technology transfer.

Technical Skills & Knowledge :

Strong knowledge of

Unit Operations

in chemical R&D.

Hands-on experience with

high-pressure autoclaves, hydrogenation, chlorination, bromination, and moisture-sensitive products.

Exposure to

polymer catalysts and polymerization processes.

Proficiency in

literature search tools

(SciFinder, Reaxys, Patents).

Lead

new product development

and process scale-up activities.

Familiarity with

audit systems

(IMS, ISO, Responsible Care).

Perform and interpret analysis using

GC, HPLC, DSC, TGA, NMR, IR, AAS , etc.

Ensure compliance with

safety systems

(HAZOP, PSSR, MSDS reviews, What-If analysis).

Guide the team on safe laboratory practices and hazard identification.

Prepare

SOPs, technical documents, and project reports.
