Role Description : We’re hiring SDE + Instructor – DevOps for our Computer Science Department. Have you ever wondered what a job where deep diving into the world of CNCF landscape would look like? What You’ll Do :
- Teach What You Know : Lead engaging sessions on Container technologies, CI / CD, Public cloud infrastructure, observability.
- Design Real-World Labs : Create hands-on exercises where students build real apps, deploy services, and debug issues — just like in the industry.
- Mentor Future Engineers : Guide students through projects, pair programming, code reviews, and mock system design interviews.
- Collaborate & Evolve the Curriculum : Work with senior faculty, curriculum teams, and industry experts to keep learning outcomes practical and cutting-edge.
- Drive Innovation : Bring your industry experience to the classroom — whether it’s GitOps, microservices, or scalable AWS architectures.
- Contribute to National Impact : Participate in open-source, AI, and government-backed projects, and mentor students preparing for global competitions like International Collegiate Programming Contest and International Olympiad in Informatics.
What We’re Looking For :
5 – 10 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer / Platform EngineerProficiency in : ○ Container technologies : Docker, Kubernetes ○ CI / CD tools : GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ○ Public Cloud : AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform ○ Observability : Prometheus, Grafana, open telemetryStrong understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and scalable deployments.Ability to simplify and explain complex concepts clearly
