Junior Interior Designer Architect

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Architect based in Chennai. The Interior Architect will be responsible for designing and planning interior spaces that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and creating detailed interior designs, working on space planning and interior fit-outs, and collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. The candidate will also oversee the execution of designs and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, and concepts related to Interior Fit-out

Expertise in Space Planning and Architecture

Strong creative and technical skills with experience in drafting and 3D modeling tools

Excellent project management and communication skills

Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into innovative design solutions

Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

Knowledge of sustainable and green design practices is a plus

Skills Required :

A degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch), Interior Design, or a related field.

3 + years of experience in the relevant field.

A strong design portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity and technical skills.

High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, and Enscape.

Good understanding of building materials, construction methods, and relevant building codes / regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Must be detail-oriented with a proven ability to balance aesthetics and functionality.

Must be willing to work on-site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
