Head of Operations – Luxury Surfaces & Handcrafted Products
Orvi is a luxury surface and lifestyle brand known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design . Our products include bespoke stone, metal, wood, and semi-precious inlays for high-end projects across India and abroad. We are looking for a hands-on Head of Operations to lead our production facility, streamline processes, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Control (PPC) : Convert custom orders into detailed schedules and work orders, track WIP, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Process & Systems Implementation : Introduce and enforce lean practices (5S, Kaizen, quality systems) without compromising craftsmanship.
- People Management : Lead, mentor, and motivate artisans, supervisors, and technicians; build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintenance & Stores Management : Oversee preventive maintenance, inventory, and raw material planning to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance : Establish QC systems to ensure consistent global-quality finishes for handcrafted and machine-processed products.
- Cross-functional Coordination : Collaborate with design, sales, and logistics teams for smooth execution of projects and support new product development.
