BMR Legal Advocates is a boutique law firm founded in 2010 specializing in the areas of Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, with expertise in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory, and policy.

Job Summary

The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing client engagements and will be supporting in advisory, litigation, and transactions work mainly in the area of Direct Taxes (Corporate tax, Transfer Pricing and International tax) and other related laws. We follow no Work from Home policy except in exceptional circumstances.

Job Description

Main Priorities

• Preparation and support in handling the litigation matters, including briefing of the Counsel
• Researching and preparing briefing notes / charts / paper books for income tax matters before ITAT, High Court, and Supreme Court
• Research for client advisory and transactions assignments – drafting of the opinion and client communications
• Assisting and working on research papers, thought leadership, articles, etc.
• Any other support related to the firm's commitments
• Comfortable with travelling for firm commitments
