Senior Performance Verification Engineer

About The Role

We're seeking a senior engineer to lead performance verification and analysis for complex SoCs spanning CPU, PCIe / CXL, media, interconnect, and memory controllers. You will own simulation / emulation-based workload bring-up, root-cause performance bottlenecks, and partner with IP / perf teams to turn insights into measurable analysis / debugs.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Lead architectural investigations and performance-and-power (PnP) trade-off studies across SoC and platform components; articulate data-backed recommendations.
• Build and execute simulation and emulation flows for compute and I / O workloads; profile, triage, and root-cause throughput / latency bottlenecks end-to-end.
• Collaborate closely with IP owners and performance teams to validate hypotheses, align on fixes, and track improvements to closure.
• Design profiling / visualization frameworks with the right abstractions; develop automation that streamlines production workflows and confidence checks.
• Continuously track advances in workload characterization, application behavior, and verification / analysis techniques; fold best practices into the roadmap.
