We are seeking a dynamic and engaging presenter to educate students on cybersecurity awareness, digital safety, and responsible online behavior. The role involves conducting interactive sessions / workshops for students (and optionally teachers / parents) to equip them with skills to navigate the digital world safely.
Key Responsibilities :1.
Design & Deliver Sessions :Create and present age-appropriate content on cybersecurity threats (phishing, passwords, cyberbullying, data privacy, etc.).Tailor sessions for different age groups (primary, secondary, senior secondary).Use interactive methods (quizzes, games, real-life scenarios) to engage students.2.
Topics to Cover :Safe online behavior (password hygiene, social media safety).Identifying phishing, scams, and cyber threats.Digital footprint, privacy, and cyberbullying prevention.Ethical hacking awareness (for older students if relevant).3.
Collaboration :Work with teachers / administrators to align sessions with curriculum (if applicable).Coordinate with IT staff (if any) to address school-specific tech concerns.Optionally involve parents (e.g., a parent webinar on monitoring kids’ online safety).4.
Assessment & Feedback :Gauge student understanding through Q&A, quizzes, or feedback forms.Suggest follow-up sessions or resources for continued learning.5.
Other Duties :Stay updated on the latest cyber threats / trends relevant to students.Promote awareness on responsible digital citizenship and ethical use of tech.Optional : Help draft cybersecurity tips for the school’s newsletter / website.Requirements :1.
Must-Have :Strong understanding of cybersecurity basics (ethical hacking, networking, threats).Excellent communication skills to simplify complex topics for students.Experience presenting to students / teens (teaching / mentoring background a plus).Certifications (CEH, Comp TIA Security+) or relevant degree (optional but a plus).2.
Preferred :Experience in schools, NGOs, or awareness programs.Ability to handle Q&A confidently (including tricky tech questions).Creative approach to making cybersecurity fun (gamification, storytelling).3.
