Key Responsibilities :
Data Analysis & Energy Modeling
- Collect, process, and analyze wind resource data from meteorological towers, SCADA systems, and external sources.
- Perform wind resource assessments and energy yield modeling using software such as WindPRO, WAsP, or OpenWind.
- Evaluate historical energy production and analyze deviations from expected performance.
Forecasting & Reporting
Prepare short-term and long-term energy production forecasts to support operations and grid management.Generate detailed reports on energy yield, performance ratios, availability, and other KPIs.Present technical findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.Project Support & Optimization
Assist in technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and site assessments for new wind projects.Support turbine performance analysis and identify potential areas for efficiency improvement.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimize asset performance.Stakeholder Coordination
Work with meteorological experts, OEMs, and project developers to gather and validate data.Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements related to energy generation.Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or related fieldCertifications or training in wind energy analytics or modeling tools is advantageousExperience :
3–7 years of experience in wind energy data analysis, forecasting, or project developmentFamiliarity with wind resource assessment tools and renewable energy industry standardsKey Skills :
Strong analytical and statistical skillsProficiency in wind energy software (WindPRO, WAsP, OpenWind, MATLAB, Python, or similar)Knowledge of SCADA systems and data acquisitionExcellent communication and report-writing abilitiesDetail-oriented with problem-solving aptitudeSkills Required
