About the role

Join a global leader in waste-to-resource recovery. You’ll maintain and repair fixed plant machinery, support breakdowns, and carry out fabrication and rebuilds. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in minimising downtime and driving plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to breakdowns and preventative maintenance tasks
Complete crusher rebuilds and mechanical repairs
Assist in fabrication : cutting, shaping, joining, polishing
Support engineering projects including plant upgrades
Provide input on job costing, compliance and site inspections

Qualifications / Experience required

Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Engineering

Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)

Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role

Welding and scissor lift experience is desirable

Able to wear a P2 mask and work with minimal supervision

What’s on offer

Full-time hours : 6 am–2 pm Monday to Friday

Overtime and Saturday work available

Competitive rate of $55 / h+penalties
