Job Description
NAVA Design & Innovation Pvt Ltd, the inventor of the world’s first automated robotic coconut sap tapping device, is an award-winning deep-tech startup recognized with the Prime Minister’s National Startup Award and the Coconut Development Board’s National Award for Best Machinery & Equipment .
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle — from lead generation through closure — while building strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Development : Identify potential customers and build partnerships with distributors / FPOs.
- Sales Execution : Deliver product demos, manage negotiations, and close deals.
- Customer Relationship Management : Maintain client communication, track adoption challenges, update CRM.
- Strategy & Reporting : Define sales targets, report performance, and forecast revenue.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field; MBA preferred.5–7 years’ experience in sales, ideally in agri-tech or equipment sales.Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Experience with government procurement, tenders, and subsidies is a plus.Familiarity with CRM tools.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Quarterly sales revenue vs. targets.Lead-to-conversion ratio.Number of partnerships / FPO tie-ups established.Client satisfaction & repeat orders.Skills ( Keywords)
