Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer - (Salesforce / Conga CPQ & Zuora)

Role summary

Own API-led integrations across the Lead-to-Revenue stack—primarily Salesforce (Conga / Apttus CPQ), Zuora, and adjacent systems—using Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform.

Design, build, and operate Experience / Process / System APIs that power quote → contract → order → billing flows and the ongoing consolidation to a unified platform.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce / Conga CPQ and downstream billing (Zuora) using MuleSoft (CloudHub or RTF).
  • Deliver API-led connectivity : define RAML / OAS, build Experience / Process / System APIs, implement routing / orchestration, and reusable connectors (Salesforce, Zuora, HTTP, JDBC, S3, etc.).
  • Transform / validate data with DataWeave; implement global error handling, retries, idempotency, and correlation IDs.
  • Apply security best practices (OAuth 2.0 / JWT, client ID / secret, TLS); manage policies in API Manager; monitor via Runtime Manager.
  • Implement CI / CD (Maven, Jenkins / GitHub Actions, MUnit), environment promotion, and automated quality gates.
  • Partner with CPQ / CLM and Billing teams to translate business requirements into integration designs; contribute to SIT, E2E, and UAT.
  • Produce design docs, sequence diagrams, runbooks; support cutovers / releases.

Day-to-day

  • Refine integration user stories with the CPQ lead; estimate, build, and demo iteratively (sprint cadence).
  • Perform code reviews, versioning, and promotions; handle defect triage and production support rotation.
  • Collaborate with offshore developers; enforce reuse standards and sensible OOTB leverage.

    • Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft (Mule 4) with enterprise integrations; strong Anypoint Platform experience (Design Center, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager).
  • Proven integrations for Salesforce / Conga (Apttus) CPQ and Zuora in quote-to-cash scenarios.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave, RAML, REST / SOAP, message-level security, and MUnit.
  • Strong grasp of integration patterns (pub / sub, request-reply, batch, eventing) and non-functional needs (scalability, resiliency, observability).

    • Nice to have

  • Salesforce fundamentals (objects, flows, platform events), Conga CLM exposure, Zuora Billing / Payments domain knowledge.
  • Experience with CloudHub networking / VPCs, RTF / Kubernetes, and secrets management.
  • MuleSoft certifications (MCD-Level 1, Integration & API Associate / Developer).
