Job Summary
The Automotive Service Advisor is the main contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include advising on services, estimating costs, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction : Greet, consult, and document service needs.
- Service Estimation : Provide cost estimates, explain required work, and get approvals.
- Coordination : Act as a bridge between customers and technicians, updating on progress.
- Customer Service : Address concerns, ensure satisfaction, and follow up post-service.
- Sales & Upselling : Recommend additional services and warranty options.
- Administrative Support : Schedule appointments, maintain records, and manage invoices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's in Automobile Engineering or equivalent.5+ years in automotive service advising.Strong knowledge of vehicle repairs, customer service, and service software.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.ASE Certification and dealership experience preferred.Work Environment & Benefits
