Quantitative Product Specialist – Global Investment Strategies

About the Role

We are seeking a Quantitative Product Specialist to join our Client's investment team and support a range of global strategies spanning macro, alternatives, specialized investments, and tax benefit solutions . This is a hybrid role that combines quantitative and analytical support with client-facing responsibilities , sitting at the intersection of research, portfolio management, and client engagement.

The role offers exposure to multiple stages of the investment process — from portfolio implementation and performance monitoring to product development, business presentations, and investor queries.

Key Responsibilities

Analytical & Technical

Work with large and complex datasets to produce custom portfolio analysis, factor attribution, and performance monitoring .

Use existing backtesters and reporting tools to support business development and client requests.

Maintain and enhance reporting infrastructure and codebases, anticipating updates as strategies evolve (e.g., new asset classes or sub-strategies).

Develop tools and dashboards in Python / SQL to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data delivery.

Product & Client Support

Partner with senior product specialists to create and refine client-facing materials including pitchbooks, portfolio reviews, and RFP responses.

Translate complex quantitative insights into clear, client-relevant narratives.

Respond to client and investor queries with well-structured, data-backed analysis.

Collaborate across global research, trading, portfolio management, and business development teams.

✅ Qualifications

Excellent academic credentials in a quantitative, technical, finance, or economics discipline .

2+ years of relevant experience in investment management, asset management, consulting, or financial services.

Strong understanding of portfolio theory, risk / return concepts, and investment structures .

Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib / seaborn) and SQL ; comfort with Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated ability to analyze intricate datasets and produce insights tailored to audience and business objectives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
