Role Overview

We are hiring R&D Chemists / Engineers with 0–5 years of experience to support and drive new adhesive formulation development, lab trials, and performance testing, with a strong focus on HMPSA and HMA systems at our Sinnar, Nashik facility.

Basic Qualifications

MSc in Chemistry (Honors preferred), PhD, or MTech in Rubber / Polymer Technology or allied fields.
0–5 years of hands-on experience in adhesives, polymers, or related R&D. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Assist and execute R&D activities for new adhesive formulations and product improvements in HMPSA / HMA.

Conduct lab trials, prototype preparation, and performance testing (peel, tack, shear, SAFT, heat resistance).

Analyze results, document findings, and prepare concise technical reports and SOPs.

Collaborate with senior scientists on problem-solving, DOE, and root-cause analysis for quality / performance gaps.

Support scale-up, pilot runs, and customer application trials in coordination with production and application teams.

Stay current with literature, patents, raw material developments, and industry standards (PSTC / ASTM methods).

Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant lab environment with strong 5S and EHS practices.

Desired Skills

Knowledge or interest in adhesive chemistries, especially HMPSA / HMA and SBC-based systems (SIS / SBS / SEBS), tackifiers (C5 / C9 / hydrogenated), plasticizers / oils, antioxidants, and stabilizers.

Familiarity with PSA performance tests (peel, loop tack, shear, SAFT), viscosity / rheology, softening point, and basic thermal analysis.

Hands-on with common lab equipment (peel / shear testers, SAFT rigs, viscometer / rheometer, mixers / coaters) is an advantage.

Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and data handling (Excel / Minitab or similar).

Clear communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Customer-facing exposure is a plus for 3–5 years experience.
