šŸŽ“ Educational Counselor ā€“ Roles & Responsibilities 1. Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Guide students about various multimedia courses such as Animation, VFX, Graphics, Web, Film Making, Gaming, etc.
  • Understand the studentā€™s interests, strengths, and career goals and suggest the best-suited course.
  • Explain the career scope, job opportunities, and industry trends in the media and entertainment sector.

2. Admission Process

  • Handle walk-ins, telephonic, and online inquiries from prospective students and parents.
  • Provide detailed information about courses, duration, fees, and placement opportunities.
  • Assist students in completing admission forms, documentation, and payment formalities.

    • 3. Communication & Follow-ups

  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads and inquiries until final admission.
  • Use CRM or inquiry registers to track conversions and meet monthly admission targets.
  • Coordinate with marketing and telecalling teams for lead generation and conversion.

    • 4. Student Relationship Management

  • Build a trusting relationship with students and parents through proper guidance and support.
  • Handle student concerns and ensure a smooth academic experience.
  • Act as a bridge between students, faculties, and management.

    • 5. Career Counseling & Placement Support

  • Conduct career counseling sessions, workshops, or seminars to motivate students.
  • Assist the placement cell by preparing students for interviews and explaining industry requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and company hiring needs.

    • 6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on inquiries, admissions, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with faculty and center head for scheduling demo classes or campus tours.
  • Ensure smooth communication between all departments for effective operations.

    • 7. Representation & Promotion

  • Represent the institute during events, exhibitions, school visits, and seminars.
  • Promote multimedia education as a valuable career option through counseling presentations and social media.
