Back End Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to take full development ownership of our mission-critical Unified Customer Engagement Platform (UCEP-FCS). This is a hands-on coding role responsible for maintaining the existing application, fixing bugs, and—most importantly—designing and building new modules and features to extend the platform's capabilities.

Feature Development & Platform Extension

Design, develop, test, and deploy new backend modules and features for the UCEP Admin and Debtor portals (e.g., new reporting modules, advanced workflow logic, new payment plan options).

Extend the existing microservices architecture by building new REST API Controllers, Processors, and Services using Node.js and Express.

Modify and optimize existing MongoDB collections and aggregation pipelines to support new features and improve performance.

Integrate new third-party providers for SMS, Email, or Payments by building and maintaining API-driven services.

Frontend Familiarity : Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Remix.run (identified in system headers), is a major plus.

AWS Cloud Services : Familiarity with AWS, including MSK (Managed Kafka), AWS SES, and IEG SNS.

FinTech / Collections Industry : Previous experience in the financial services, payments, or debt collections industry.

DevOps : Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
