Job description

Role : Python Developer

Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week)

Contract Duration : Long Term

Work Hours : 1 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 PM IST

Work Schedule : 8 hours / day (Mon-Fri)

Location : 3 Days a week In-Office - Pune, India

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Django , API integration, and hands-on experience with GenAI (GPT, embeddings, DI) . The ideal candidate has solid SQL skills, strong web development fundamentals, and experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Python & Django
Integrate complex systems using REST / SOAP / WSDL
Implement data transformations based on mapping documents
Work closely with clients to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Integrate AI / GenAI models (e.G., GPT, embeddings) into applications
Ensure smooth system interoperability across services
Use Git / ADO and follow SDLC best practices

Required Qualifications

4–7 years Python & Django experience

3–5 years strong SQL experience

1–2 years hands-on GenAI experience (GPT, embeddings, DI)

Experience with system integrations & API-based architecture

Knowledge of Git, DevOps, and service-oriented architecture

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred

Experience in insurance or other regulated industries

Certifications in Python or GenAI

Familiarity with HTML / CSS / JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks
