About the Team :

As a Principal Data Engineer in our Data Warehouse team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, mentoring senior engineers, and engaging directly with clients. This position involves building a holistic roadmap for our BNL Data Warehouse offerings, solving complex data modeling challenges, ensuring smooth delivery of features, and applying modern marketing data suites. You'll be part of a fast-growing, innovative team, driving large-scale data initiatives.

What We're Looking For :

Must Have Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 4+ years leading teams.
• Strong coding expertise : Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience.
• 5+ years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise.
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse design & development using modern DW tools.
• Hands-on with Databricks and dbt (mandatory).
• Expert in Airflow (workflow orchestration).
• Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications.
• Deep understanding of file formats : Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs.
• Proficiency in building CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
• Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks.
• Ability to propose / review architecture and solve complex data models.
