Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits for clients across various industries
- Perform audit testing of financial statement line items and internal controls
- Prepare working papers and audit documentation in accordance with firm and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with clients to gather financial data, supporting documents, and explanations
- Assist in drafting audit reports and communicating audit findings to the audit manager and client
- Stay updated with developments in accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS), Companies Act, and auditing practices
- Work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative audit environment
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive financial data
Key Requirements :
Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) – Recently qualified (preferably cleared in 1st or 2nd attempt)Articleship Experience : 3 years of articleship training, preferably in statutory audit with a reputed firmSkills :Good understanding of accounting standards, auditing standards, and Companies ActProficient in MS Excel, Word, and audit tools / software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and analytical thinkingSkills Required
